Project Rive

APL partners with Project Rive, founded by Sora Edwards-Thro, an organization which puts the tools Haitian kids need to learn within their reach. They are accomplishing this through technology, by providing XO laptops to students in the town of Anse-a-Pitres.

Project Rive is making great progress, and we want to share the news! Sora shared a bit of it with us, “We were able to raise money for the solar system and we got it set up in Ansapit. Thank you again for APL’s contribution and support. With this new system we can charge all 10 laptops at once, and we can store power in the battery for rainy days. We also installed a light so we can have classes at night.”
